OneLife desires to get outside the church building and love and serve our local community and beyond. We don’t do it alone; we do it in partnership. OneLife partners with other churches and groups with two particular goals in mind. One, we partner with them to plant and strengthen churches both in the United States and the world. Second, we partner with organizations to support social justice, helping meet people’s spiritual, social, and material needs. Here are the organizations with whom we partner:
REACH - Global
OneLife supports several churches and church plants in the country of Nepal. With over 80% of the population identifying as Hindu and only 1.4% of people identifying as Christian, the need for more gospel-centered churches is great. We provide resources to help existing congregations plant churches in new areas. In addition, we support these new church plants as we help them acquire the materials and resources they need to most effectively reach the Nepalese people.
Rebekah Marcuccio is a OneLifer who lives and serves in Johannesburg, South Africa. Rebekah works as a teacher in a local school in an area that is poverty-stricken. Her ultimate goal is to reach children, parents, and teachers with the good news of the gospel. In addition, she is able to use her teaching knowledge and experience to encourage and strengthen local teachers. OneLife provides financial support to Rebekah as she serves in this capacity.
Advance is a global partnership of churches which seeks to advance the gospel by strengthening and planting churches. OneLife is actively partnering with Advance to financially support church plants in our nation and around the world. Some of the locations of these church plants include San Diego; Provo, Utah; London; Chiang Rai, Thailand; and Johannesburg, South Africa. For more information on church planting and the churches with whom we partner, check out advancemovement.org.
OneLife partners with a church in California called Southlands, and together we support two orphanages in Mexico. Our heart with both orphanages is to represent the gospel to those whom society may deem as unworthy and unwanted. OneLife joins with Southlands to send teams of people to do short-term missions work. This work includes completing building and upkeep tasks as well as loving on the children and orphanage workers.
REACH - Local
Anchor Point is a ministry based in the Bay Area of Houston which seeks to provide hope to families in difficult situations. Their primary focus is to come alongside parents and families who are dealing with unexpected pregnancies, troubled youth, foster care, or adoption. OneLife partners with Anchor Point by providing financial resources which are used to help these families in need.
Each Christmas, OneLife joins with the Salvation Army to bless children who have an incarcerated parent. This program is called Angel Tree. Parents who are incarcerated may not have the means or ability to send Christmas presents to their children. That’s where Angel Tree comes in! Individuals or families at OneLife sign up to provide a child with Christmas gifts, and this gift is sent for the parent to the child.
